URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA 153 PM PST Mon Nov 14 2022 ...RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR WESTERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY AND MUCH OF VENTURA COUNTY FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM WEDNESDAY... .Strong high pressure building into the Great Basin will support the first strong Santa Ana event of the season Tuesday night into Wednesday. Strong cold air advection will generally limit relative humidity values above critical values Tuesday evening and night even as damaging winds likely develop (see NPWLOX for details on the HIGH WIND WARNING). However, further drying Wednesday morning into the afternoon and continuing gusty and potentially damaging winds will likely support 6 hours or more of critical fire weather conditions during the warning period.

PST Mon Nov 14 2022 ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM PST WEDNESDAY FOR GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR COASTAL AREAS OF VENTURA AND WESTERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY INCLUDING MALIBU... * Winds...Damaging northeast winds with gusts peaking 40 to 60 mph. Local gusts to 70 mph in the foothills. Strongest Tuesday night through early Wednesday afternoon. * Relative Humidity...Minimum relative humidity of 6 to 12 percent Wednesday late morning and afternoon. * Impacts...If fire ignition occurs there could be rapid spread of wildfire that would lead to a threat to life and property. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds and low relative humidity can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources.

Note that at approximately 31 minutes after the burn over the house survived, then at 34 minutes you can see the roof starting to catch fire.
